Kaitiaki is a fun adventure game that can be played by all ages on an iPad. Its great for learning about New Zealand marine biology and the Maori culture.

Kaitiaki means ‘guardian’ but for you to become a Kaitiaki you must guide a crayfish through dangerous waters. Tangaroa – the Maori God of the Sea, will help you along the way.

Kaitiaki HD is the worlds first Maori-English mobile Game-based Learning App developed to engage and educate school children.

The motivation behind Kaitiaki is to raise student achievement targets by using a fun gaming platform to convey learning.
